Toronto, ON – Axium Infrastructure announces the acquisition of Osaka Gas’ 50% equity ownership in the Aurora Solar portfolio, bringing Axium’s total equity ownership in the portfolio to 100%. Axium acquired the initial 50% equity ownership position in the Aurora Solar portfolio from Mitsubishi Corporation in February 2019. The Aurora Solar portfolio is comprised of nine operating solar facilities located in Ontario with total generating capacity of 101 MWdc.

(NYSE: AGR), reached agreement on September 13th with Axium Infrastructure to transfer 50% ownership of the Dry Lake II Wind Farm and 50% of the Copper Crossing Solar Project later this year. Avangrid Renewables developed, and currently owns and operates the two Arizona projects, with the long-term output of both projects under contract to Salt River Project (SRP).
